The person behind the prints

Meet Paul

Every piece that leaves my workshop is made by hand, with care, one order at a time. No assembly lines. No overseas factories. Just me, my machines, and your memories.

Made In Michigan

A Side Hustle Born from Passion

Printed by Pul started the way most good things do—with curiosity and a bit of tinkering. I'd been experimenting with 3D printing and laser engraving for years, making gifts for friends and family. When people kept asking if I could make pieces for them too, I figured it was time to make it official.

This isn't a big operation, and that's by design. I'm not trying to compete with mass-produced products or dropshipping operations. Every single piece is made to order, right here in Warren, Michigan. When you place an order, I'm the one who reviews your photo, creates your proof, runs the machines, and packages it up for shipping.

There's something special about transforming a digital photo into something you can actually hold. Whether it's a lithophane that glows on your windowsill or an engraving that sits on your desk, these pieces turn everyday moments into keepsakes that last.

Approval Before Production

You'll see exactly how your piece will look before I make it. No surprises, no disappointments. If something needs adjusting, we'll work it out together.

Your Photos Only

I only work with photos you own—your family, your pets, your memories. No copyrighted characters or licensed images. This keeps things simple and legal for everyone.

Why "Pul"?

You might be wondering about the spelling. My name is Paul—P-A-U-L—but the business is "Printed by Pul."

Growing up, my family would go bowling together after church on Sundays. Back then, the scoring screens only let you enter three letters for your name. My brother started typing P-U-L instead of P-A-U-L, and it just stuck.

It's a small thing, but it reminds me of those Sunday afternoons—family, laughter, and making memories together. Seemed like the right name for a business that's all about turning memories into something you can keep.

And the pancakes in the logo? I just really like pancakes. 🥞
